• Benefits of Digital Foot Scan
  The digital foot scan provides a more thorough assessment of the patient's foot, along with other important factors. During this procedure, a map of the foot is created, taking into account the weight, weight distribution and foot pressure of the patient, as well as any foot abnormalities. The scan takes just a few minutes to perform and provides a comprehensive evaluation of each of the foot's three arches.

  Patients who utilize this advanced procedure benefit from faster analysis and orthotic production times than traditional analysis with a plaster cast. Patients can receive their orthotics faster and begin to experience pain relief sooner than ever before.

• Orthotics
  Orthotics are customized shoe inserts that correct foot movement during motion and rest. They provide comfort and functionality for people with various foot, ankle, knee, hip and back conditions by either altering or protecting the foot. While orthotics were previously created by making a cast of the foot out of plaster, customized orthotics can now be created with a digital foot scan for faster, more precise results.
  
  
• Ultrasound
  Ultrasound is a medical imaging technique that uses a physical mechanic similar to a submarine's sonar or dolphin echolocation. The device, called a transducer, sends out high frequency sound waves and then "listens" to the response to create an image based on the sound reflected back at the machine.
  
  This visualization allows the doctor to determine the location of abnormal growths or other abnormalities within the soft tissue of the foot and ankle. This procedure is not often used to evaluate the bone. Additionally, all image recording happens in "real" time as soon as the machine is turned on and placed on the body. There is no wait for any sort of picture development needed for x-rays and other imaging procedures.
